Antler knives

An antler knife is usually divided into two categories, fullhorn and halfhorn.
On a fullhorn knife the handle and the sheath is made of antlers from elk or reindeer.
On a halfhorns knife it is common to mix antlers with curly birch or sallow root to make the handle. The sheath is then made in two parts. The lower part that is covering part of the blade is made in antlers and the upper part that surround the handle is often made out of tanned leather.
