Damascus steel knives

These knives have blades manufactured with damask technique. This technique is composed of patterns steel, which contains two or more different kinds of metals. After the etching the blade gets different patterns depending on which technique was used during the manufacturing process.

Steel that has been put together by various shaped pieces of steel that together makes a pattern. The smith sometimes uses different patterns like flowers, stars and animals.
